This week we had our first meeting with the two artists Laura and Ana, who joined us for the game. We decided to make the perspective isometric and 2D. They probably will start to work on the game characters and a first version of the game level. We granted them access to our dropbox assets folder, and i tried to arrange to get the build folder in dropbox as well. So everytime i build the project, the latest build will get updated in the dropbox automatically, so the artists can always play the latest prototype without being forced to perform a build on their machines. I reworked the Game Concept and Motivation sections in our document, and extended two of the scenarios. In the lab we discussed the co-design workshop. Probably we will do the card sorting and zen voting activities.

Hi! This week we have talked more about our game idea and realized that we did not have the same visions about our game. We discussed in the group and with the professor. Part of our game idea is that there is a daytime and a nighttime. We all agreed most on the nighttime and will focus to develop that part. Otherwise, we have been working on the 1st cycle tasks. We are also exploring which technology to choose, which isn't easy to decide. //Melanie
We delivered our lofi prototype and tech prototype this week as well as user feedback documents. next week we need to do a workshop with our focus group, which will be quite interesting i think. also, we will meet our two designers and talk about the project. we are now a quite big group (6 people) and i think the communication overhead will be higher. we need to make sure that everyone is always up to date and knows about the latest design/development progresses. we therefore have a facebook chat and work on shared google documents for now, lets see if this suffices. MOJO - 1 week

Hello! MOJO is coming and we have been preparing for it. We have arranged with our artists to print the drawn poster and some stickers in a printing shop in Cais de Sodré. We are also programming every functionality that we think is necessary for the game to be ready to play and fun in a week. It's been a challenge! We promise we're trying our best, both developers and artists, even though everyone is being overwhelmed with other projects. See you next week! ~evoll~
